Guardian Assure
In addition to providing life insurance coverage, the Guardian Assure plan will facilitate investment in one or more of five funds. Investment under this plan is mandatory.
A feature of the Guardian Assure will be the accumulation of fund value between two accounts, namely the Coverage Account and the Investment Account. The Coverage Account will track the accumulation of value resulting from payment of Basic Premium amounts and deduction of expense charges and one¬ year term insurance charges (or mortality charges). The Investment Account will reflect the accumulation of value resulting from payment of Regular and Ad-¬hoc Investment Premium amounts.
Issue Ages:
The allowable issue ages are 1 to 75 inclusive. The plan will be sold on an age nearest birthday basis.
Policy Size
The minimum policy size is $ 3,500,000.
Choice of Funds
The available investment funds under the Guardian Assure plan are:
• Guardian Equity Fund
• Guardian Money Market Fund
• Guardian Long Term Growth Fund
• Guardian Stabilization Fund
• Guardian Foreign Currency Indexed Fund
The premium types payable are:
• Basic Premium
• Regular Investment Premium
• Ad-hoc Investment Premium
The minimum Regular Investment Premium is $500 monthly.
